Biography

Laura Leigh Stephens graduated from Auburn University in 1989 with a Bachelor in Accounting and spent the next ten years working as an accountant in Rome, Georgia. During 1999 Leigh accepted a Financial Controller position with the international advertising firm of Barwick, Bodden and Pritchard and relocated to Grand Cayman, British West Indies. After spending two years in Grand Cayman Leigh relocated back to her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama and began training with Garrett & Associates to be a commercial real estate appraiser. Leigh received her Certified General Real Property Appraiser license in Spring of 2004 and has recently obtained her MAI designation.

In addition to being a commercial real estate appraiser Leigh is also a licensed Real Estate broker in the State of Alabama. Leigh's area of focus, both in appraisals and brokerage, is in commercial real estate.
